Age requirements vary, so make sure to check the tournament listing to make sure they are using the up to date rules.
For AVP Tournaments the new age restrictions are as follows:
AVP JUNIOR AGE REQUIREMENTS:
The age restrictions for the 2026 AVP America beach volleyball tournament are:

18-and-under: Athletes graduating high school in 2025 or later.

16 & Under: Athletes graduating high school in 2027 or later.

14 & Under: Athletes graduating high school in 2029 or later.

12 & Under: Athletes graduating high school in 2031 or later.
