College Athlete Program - CAP
Our College program is our highest level of commitment, this is only for those athletes who wish to play beach volleyball in college. Being in this program will not guarantee you will be offered scholarships, or be giving an opportunity to represent your future school, however it will give you a chance. How hard you are willing to work, and what you are willing to do will impact a college coach into selecting you. We have been fortunate that every player that has continued with the program, and the hard work, is now currently playing in college!!
This group will not be for everyone... We do not have tryouts but there will be a mandatory one on one interview with the player, and then with the parents so everyone understands the expectations. This group will condition rigorously daily, they will learn how to think for themselves, they will be a volleyball player, not a robot.
What does a season look like?
Season: November - July (There will be a Holiday break around Christmas)
-
November - February = 5 x a week; 2-3 x in sand (depending on weather), 2x strength/agility/jump training. (Typically more weights and jump training early in the season ) And one Play Practice.
-
March – July = 3-4 x a week; 3-4 x in sand with one of these days being a match or play practice.
Tournament fees and travel expenses are not included. Coaches may be available at tournaments for Year Round players. Coaches will not be at every match, we should not need to be...We do our work on the practice courts, but will try and see every team for a match at a tournament. We highly recommend that parents film matches, there will be days where we might go through some video and break it down with the players.
Specialized Program
Our Specialized program is our next level of commitment and is for those players that are taking the game of beach volleyball seriously. We will work hard, both physically and mentally through conditioning, and will train all skills having to do with beach volleyball. When registering for this program you are agreeing to come to every practice and work hard, outline your goals and achieve them. This group is similar to the college group, but does not go to trainers nor practice as much. Practices are mandatory and must be attended, while tournaments are not required, they should be played as part of the overall training.

Part-Time Program
Our Part Time Program is similar to our Specialized, but relaxes in some areas. Tournaments and Practices are not mandatory, however and I stress this, players cannot get better by skipping practices. Our program builds from day one, so when they miss practices, they will miss valuable lessons. We will work hard, both physically and mentally through conditioning, and will train all skills having to do with beach volleyball. This is a great program for those playing on an indoor travel team but are also taking their beach volleyball seriously. It is also a good intro to serious beach volleyball.
